An oasis of tranquility awaits

Upon arrival, I was greeted with a glass of cava, and the tranquil gardens felt like stepping into paradise. The staff, especially Ralf, went out of their way to ensure a perfect stay. Breakfast offered a delightful variety, and lounging by the saltwater pool was sheer bliss.

A minor inconvenience was the lack of a courtesy room for late check-out. I had to change in the public restroom before my flight. It would have been nice to have more privacy in that regard.

Absolutely loved the tropical vibes and the delicious breakfast—those fresh fruits were a game changer! The intimate setting made everything feel special, and the stunning gardens can’t be missed.

While I had to schlep to the pool’s shower to change before my flight, the fantastic service and welcoming atmosphere kept the experiences bright.

The intimate atmosphere allowed us to connect with other guests during the social events, enhancing our overall experience.

A downside was the lack of a courtesy room for late departures, making it awkward to change before heading to the airport.

The peaceful garden setting with a gorgeous pool was my favorite! Staff were exceptional, especially Sema and Roland, always making us feel special. The only downside was the bar closing at 5pm. 🍹

the hotel is cute, but the bar closing at 5pm really ruined my evening plans. and don’t even get me started on the constant intrusions from staff—they seemed to think my room was theirs! for the price I paid, a complimentary upgrade would’ve been nice, but no such luck. i woudl’ve loved to write a good review, but just couldn’t.

The jacuzzi often non-operational!!! Hot water supply issues occurred!!! The bar closing at 5 PM just screams missed opportunities for evening relaxation!!! Room maintenance needs serious attention with cracked paintwork and chipped fittings!!! More privacy desired with staff entering rooms at all hours!!!

The Birdcage provided a wonderfully tranquil escape. The garden suite was exquisite, with a spacious private terrace and a cozy living area. Attentive staff ensured every need was met, making my stay truly memorable.

Excellent WiFi, relaxing heated pool, but the off-site car park was inconvenient.

i've stayed in gran canaria before, but the birdcage truly surpassed my expectations. the intimate setting with beautifully designed rooms and a stunning garden made my week feel extra special. the breakfasts were delightful, and the attentive staff made sure every detail was perfect.
